Move & Be Moved Through

Trauma-Informed Strength/Mobility Training

After 25 years as a strength and mobility trainer, and on the cusp of turning 50, my definitions of “fitness” have shifted. I want to be strong, mobile, and joyful in my body as I age—and I want the same for you.

This is movement training rooted in presence, respect, and nervous system attunement. Informed by my practice as a Somatic Experiencing© practitioner, I offer a trauma-informed approach that honors how your body has adapted, protected, and persisted over time.

We strengthen and mobilize in service to the authentic embodiment of your life, not for the performative image of wellness. We don’t override patterns—we get curious about them.

Move & Be Moved

Your Movement Holds Your History.

Trauma-informed training recognizes that your strengths and limitations, your stability and range, are shaped by life experiences. So we move with care, clarity, and compassion and then we invite challenge, range and growth.

This work is about reclaiming your body—not as a betterment project,
but as a place to live with more power, creativity, pleasure, and presence.

It’s about being seen in your full range of authentic, embodied aliveness and learning to see yourself there, too.

What clients are saying:

“I love working with Weena because she has a subtly complex understanding of the body. She can listen well to my specific needs and help me challenge myself without pushing into injury.”

“Weena’s classes make me feel tired and exhilarated, strong, proud of myself, and grounded in my body in a way I rarely get to feel anywhere else. She’s amazing and I am so lucky to be able to learn from her.”

"Weena is a skilled, thoughtful trainer. Her knowledge and application of the body and form for exercise makes me feel really safe while I'm getting strong."
